Dies ist das offizielle Sprachrohr von xenophony[.com/.org/.de/.net] – auf diesem weblog wird über Musik in seiner stilistischen Breite, über Komposition und Komponisten sowie Produktion und Produzenten geschrieben. Der Autor ist Philipp Frenkel, IT Fachmann, Semi-Pro Musiker, gegenwärtig in Berlin tätig.

Sein instrumentelles Portfolio umfasst unter anderen Flöten, Trommeln (Djembe, Bougarabou, Darbuka, Udu, Congas, Bongos usw.) Didgeridos, Gitarre, Keyboard und Geige. Vor einigen Jahren (1997-2001) war er bekannt als Live Act “sonicsolution” (sehr alte Website unter: http://www.sonicsolution.de) in der Umgebung von Stuttgart und hat über 50 Auftritte auf Parties/in Clubs von klein bis groß sowie Begleitmusik für Vernissagen (u.A. in Münchner Nachtcafé für Manfred Rupp) bestritten.

Er hat auch eine CD herausgebracht (gesponsort von Hotlix/Heiko Meyenberg: franklee records – “percussive house vol. 1″) und einen Track in Zusammenarbeit mit Micha Harrer in Stuttgart für Paul’s Musique’s jährliche CD-Compilation elektronischer Musikkünstler aus Stuttgart.

Zur Zeit arbeitet er an seinen D’n'B/Breakbeat/Jungle/Two Step Skills und wird die daraus resultierenden Ergebnisse  Frühling 09 veröffentlichen.

This is the official mouthpiece of xenophony[.com/.org/.de/.net] – on this weblog there will be information dealing with music in its wide field of styles, composition and composers, production and producers. The author is Philipp Frenkel, who is an IT professional, semi-pro musician, currently working in Berlin, Germany.

His instrumental portfolio includes but is not limited to pipes over ethnic drums (djembe, bougarabou, darbuka, udu, congas, bongos, frame drum, …) didgeridoos and guitars, keyboards and violine. In earlier days (1997-2001) he was known as live act “sonicsolution” (visit the horribly outdated site under http://www.sonicsolution.de) in the vincinity of Stuttgart, South-West-Germany and performed over 50 gigs at parties of small to large size and also played the background music for vernissages (eg. at munichs Nachtcafé for Manfred Rupp).

He also published a CD (sponsored by Hotlix/Heiko Meyenberg: franklee records – “percussive house vol. 1″) and a track created in collaboration with Micha Harrer in Stuttgart for Paul’s Musique annual CD compilation of electronic music artists from Stuttgart.

At the moment he is increasing his D’n'B/Breakbeat/Jungle/Two Step skills and will be presenting results spring 09.
